York’s ancient city walls can be reached in just 10 minutes’ walk with a further 5 to 10 minutes’ walk taking guests to the historic attractions including the spectacular York Minster.
Alternatively there is a bus stop outside the hotel and from there a bus in to town takes 3 minutes. York Railway Station is just a 10-minute walk or few minutes by car and the Elmbank has limited free parking. There is also a bus stop near the hotel with sightseeing tours going in to town.
York Racecourse is a few minutes' away.
