  : We've stayed at multiple apartments in York over last 2 years and this won't stay on our list - we won't be returning. On arrival there was a pile of post on the doormat inside confirming that no-one had checked it recently - towels were on the bed so we had no idea of knowing how long they had sat there. Eurgh. No welcome pack, no heating instructions so we had to google them (a link sent via email did not work and was not remedied by the owners, in fact they didn't read my emails properly and kept telling me to try the link). This just did not feel like a home from home, there were no nice touches like a rug in the living space, table lamps, no milk/biscuits etc. The TV was in a stupid position on the fireplace wall so you could not see it from the sofa or armchair. There were net blinds in living room but no curtains so after dark you could see straight into the apartment from the street/houses opposite. No blind at kitchen window so zero privacy. No bin in the bathroom or bedrooms. Cheap thin bedlinen. Cheap shower with a fixed height which was too low for myself and my partner. When emptying our rubbish into the dustbin we found it was already full. Such a shame, it's a great size and could be gorgeous.

  : The accomodation was very good with parking outside and ideally located near to shops and buses. If the points above are addressed the accomodation would be an excellent choice for those visiting York. 
  : The only problem was the lack of instructions on the use of the heating, TV and entertainment system. Heating instructions were found but the program entered failed to switch the heating off at night, had to be done manually. TV volume could not be raised to a reasonable level. The landline number for the property agent did not work and the out of office hours number just rang out when we tried using it.

  : my only niggle was that the sink, toilet and bath could have done with a more thorough clean (hairs)

  : The shower was very difficult to get to the correct temperature.Also the mugs/cups were a very poor selection.

  : The apartment was outstanding, the size and layout was more than expected, loved the cinema room upstairs. Everything was easy to find and well equiped.
  : Paying for the security deposit was very difficult. The floors had some remains of dried food on them.
