  : As we were going up the stairs we noticed dirty carpeting through the hallways, marks on the wall, and damaged doors. As we entered the room we were greeted with a strong stench. Upon inspection of the room we noticed broken door handles, questionable stains on both sofas, food splash marks on the wall where someone had cooked but not cleaned up, a slanted painting on the wall, dirty windows, water/damp marks on the wall, marks on the walls and after lifting up the sheet on the bed we noticed a filthy mattress. All which I have photographic evidence for.I went down to where we collected the key from and told the gentleman in the premier shop of my dissatisfaction and he offered me room number 9. I went to room number 9 and it was not in much better condition. The tv was hanging on its last screw and it looked like someone had taken a hammer to the windowsill.I went back downstairs and pleaded with the gentleman in the shop for just a clean room. I showed him the pictures of the rooms they had advertised and asked for one of the clean rooms. She gentleman was very apologetic but expressed that he could do nothing as the shop is a separate business to apartments, he just holds the keys sometimes. He did tell me to phone the number given to me by bookings.com. I did but the person cut me off and texted me please text me. I began to explain my issue but the person replying did not care what I had to say instead I got The room was checked and it was clean.Kind regards and that I would not be getting a refund.I could not understand how the company could reel me in with false images, allow me to pay for what I saw in those pictures, then when I arrive to an inevitable disappointment not give me my money back. This business is operating in a dishonest manner and is relying on consumers good faith. I had no choice but to book a room elsewhere.

  : There was no one there to let us in at 10pm as arranged then we were told last check in was 10pm when shop shut and we had to sleep on Streets and won't give money back. Really rude and unprofessional I won't let this go it's not right treating paying guests so badly

  : Nothing to like about this place it's above a shop and you have a surprise 50 deposit to pay when you arrive and you can't check out until 10am when the shop opens
  : The room smells, the sofas seems like they are going to snap in half the tv has barely any channels the bed smells and is uncomfortable

  : This is a basic but honest and caring property thanks to the staff. They understood my needs, were flexible, accommodating and helpful on every occasion. I would definitely return if I need to be in the city.
