  : The WiFi is terrific. The whole place including the pub is very cozy and the rooms have been renovated stylishly. There is complementary water which we appreciated a lot.
  : Do not expect a quiet countryside inn. Despite being separated from the road by the parking lot, the traffic was quite audible until very late.

  : Really nice property. Lovely spacious bedrooms and very welcoming bar and restaurant areas. The food was very good!
  : Unfortunately, even though it looked the part and tasted the part, it was like staying at Fawlty Towers. First, we had to switch rooms because the lock on our bedroom door didnt lock, it was broken. We had to switch rooms (which wasnt a problem) but in the second room, it was like stepping into Dubai. The radiator in the bathroom was stuck on the highest setting and couldnt be changed. There was no way of switching it off. In the restaurant we were greeted by a very miserable manager for the evening. At this point we had already seen the manager 3 times and still no service with a smile and didnt inform us of what wasnt on the menu. The waitress, Adele who was really good, she had to take different orders for our table as she wasnt aware of the sold out items. Eventually we got there and kindly gave us a discount on the bill. At 2 am in the fire alarms went off and up rose the very happy manager. Didnt inform us or the few guests of the protocol or what had caused the fire alarms to go off. She didnt check all the rooms either. No explanation or apology for the disruption. It could have been the red hot heater in our bathroom but she didnt want to check it. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and couldnt have been better. When asked if we wanted more hot drinks, we ordered and 20 minutes later, no drinks. The takeover manager had forgotten because it had been a busy weekend and if breakfast service had been busy, i wouldnt have forgotten. For 171 per night, you shouldnt forget your only guests down for breakfast. She even forgot that she had taken our order. Adele, who did her best and was very friendly, the rest of the staff were so unfriendly and shouldnt be working in hospitality if they cant provide some acceptable customer service. Its a shame because the venue was lovely and so was the food. Thank you to Adele and the chef!
