  : Communication with Justin.The bed linen was lovely and soft, so was the towel.
  : Described as a lodge/villa when it is essentially a small terraced house with a small overlooked garden.Dirty utensils and trays had been left from previous guests. I had to wash a load up before unpacking.Bread loaf and bread buns left from previous guests-2 days out of date.Place mats on the table were mouldy - informed Justin and he says they were marked. They were NOT just marked, you can see the mould spores on the pictures and they absolutely stunk. Disgusting.Mattresses thin & uncomfortable, obviously this is subjective to each individual but non of us slept well.Pictures are very deceiving, making the place look bigger than it is.

  : Neighbours were a problem, we believe they have keyed our car as there is a key scratch running along all the side of the car. It may not have been them but we couldn't think of any other time it could've happened as we were only ever at the clients who had CCTV which we reviewed. This reason would be enough not to stay again regardless of the great house/location

  : We booked a 6 week stay at the property as a base prior to our move to a new home Upon arrival at the property late on 12 July direct from Cyprus, it was found to be dirty, particularly the kitchen and bathroom, and most certainly not fit to live in. Due to the lateness of the hour, we had to stay one night and informed the owner of the issues at 7.40am the following morning via WhatsApp with photos of the disgusting state of certain rooms. We followed this up with a phone call to him at 9am also. He later stated that he was not aware until 5 days after we arrived not the case as we have the WhatsApp evidence and time of the phone call to him! We advised the owner verbally that we could not live in the property, advised him we were leaving and asked for a full refund - he refused our request. The following events then took place: We had to rebook other accommodation at a cost of 4000+ We left on the afternoon of 13 July the key was left in the key box we were accused of keeping the key by the owner Booking.com were informed but advised we had to deal direct with the owner he thought the opposite! Booking.com wished us well in our quest for compensation The owner actually accused us of damaging his property we are pensioners approaching 70 with a reputation of being fair this caused particular distress for us We tried the legal route to try and recoup our losses this cost 1700. We were advised that whilst we had a good case, it would cost circa 10K to get to court and would not be recouped even if we won! We had to withdraw. We are now looking at other avenues to pursue to try and recoup our loss So, in summary, we urge prospective renters to be aware of our experience. We would not want others to go through the financial pain and distress that we have encountered.
