  : I liked the location as it was close by for my appointment.
  : The shower was low pressure, slow and not hot enough. The shower doors do not meet when closed so there is a gap when using the shower. The toiletries containers (shower gel, hand wash, shampoo and the conditioner) bottles were sticky and needed a wash before I could use them.

  : The food was delicious, I really enjoyed the breakfast. All the staff were friendly including the owner. The location was ideal and not far from Penrith and Keswick. The welcome book left in the rooms was helpful for relevant information such as taxis, breakfast and dinner openings times etc. I enjoyed reading the history of the hotel. Also the view of the farm from the room window was lovely.
  : The bed was a little uncomfortable however, it was only for one night so manageable. Furthermore, maybe due to the buildings age, the walls were thin, you could hear full conversations in the other rooms so other guests may need to be mindful if your discussing something private. The bathroom maybe needed a further clean or renovation, the grout was dirty, not sure if it hasn’t been cleaned or if it’s just a build up overtime as grout sometimes does. Round the shower seals looks to be a little unclean too. See photos.

  : Jimmy and I have been many times try to go as much as we can through out the year. The family are lovely people who will go out there way to help if required. Staff are second to none. Food excellent. Going again soon can't wait.

  : The water pressure is very low for the shower. It was either too hot (cold tap was very slow) or way too cold.

  : Squeaky floor boards and minuscule shower room. Odd wardrobe arrangements spare radiator stored in clothing cupboard.

  : Shower wasn’t best but due to age and listed status of building it’s difficult to update so not a major negative. It was warm and did the job
