  : up two flights of steep stairs- I made sure I only wentup once on both days of my stay.The over head light and bathroom light were on the same ciircuit so you either had all lights on or none,not useful if you had to use the bathroom through the night.The television had no terestrial channels,only obscure foreign rubbish.We had to ask a fellowguest how to operate the door lock after 9 p.m. as there were no staff,and we tried everything with our mobile phones to get the keypad to light up.There was no one in reception when we arrived at 8.15 on Friday evening.I could not use the shower as there was a step of about one foot to get into the shower and the same to exit and as I could not be sure of not slipping we did not use this facility.If you are in any way disabled this is not the hotel for you.

  : En-suite bathroom for our room (and only our room, No.3 I think?) was up a near vertical ladder - not suitable for elderly, infirm, children, and not if you're getting a taxi back from a wedding in the early hours if drink may have been taken!! We managed, but this limitation was not spoken to us prior to the stay....

  : The place was like a small apartment, in through the door into a sitting room with two settees, two chairs, tea and coffee making and a hidden fridge. Lovely view over the park. Then into the bedroom with a walk in wet room attached.
  : The glass door on the wet room, going to the loo at night meant not putting the light on because it would wake my husband. Fantastic shower, but the run of the water was wrong and if not careful would go out the door into the bedroom.

  : The room was in the attic up a very narrow metal spiral staircase. We paid 90 for room only and were not impressed with the state of the room. There are unfinished areas of decor all round the room, there was a velux window which you couldn't reach without standing on a stool, it had no blind so we had to trap a towel in it to try and give a bit of coverage from the early morning light. The water in the shower completely stopped for quite a while mid shower, so I was stood there with shampoo all in my hair and eyes with no water for 3 or 4 minutes!! There is no cover on the shower drain. The towel rail wasn't fixed properly so wobbled. There were wires hanging from the ceiling, doors and frames left unpainted, paint or putty on the window, and general unfinished decor. Lighting was terrible, no mirror in the bathroom. One plug in the whole room with extension leads everywhere. I had to unplug the extension under the bed and pull it out to be able to use my hairdryer and straighteners by the mirror. After complaining they refused to refund us, terrible people.
