  : - great location: close to Warner Bros Studio and only a short drive to the tube (for getting into central London) - the staff: were very friendly, helpful and attentive- the leisure facilities: enjoyed some relaxing downtime by the pool etc. - the room: spacious and a very comfy bed
  : - we actually both feel a little miss-led and disappointed: the hotel is advertised as a 4* but compared to other places that weve stayed, this wasnt in the same league. People are obviously permanently living here and at times it didnt feel like we were staying in a hotel it was more like a rundown estate. There was always litter (not just room waste - crisp packets, cereal boxes from breakfast, pieces of bread, packaging from toys) dumped in the corridors and young children playing. People were running up and down the corridors at night and were shouting. My fiance didnt feel safe walking around the hotel on her own, which shouldnt be the case the emergency exit near our room was was actually open every time we passed with people congregating outside - the room: very hot constantly and although we opened the window and used the desk fan provided, we still were too hot - the communal areas were showing signs of age and are in need of updating - breakfast was hit and miss - the food was generally okay but the mushrooms and tomatoes werent properly cooked on any of the days. There were also a lot of unsupervised children roaming around the breakfast room and not using the serving equipment, which was quite off-putting. The breakfast room seemed to be understaffed

  : Two single beds were attached together as one double bed which made it very uncomfortable.Around the swimming pool was so dirty which is unacceptable from a 4 star hotel! We asked for an extra fan in the room three times as it was too hot and the room had no air-con but no one brought it to us. The price was too high for what we got.We stayed at other Mercure hotels and by far this was the worse. Overall very bad experience and dont recommend.
