  : Clean and welcoming. Comfortable beds, beautiful soft towels. Shops and take aways nearby. Handy for A1 and local attractions. Usual tea and coffee etc but good toiletries, disposable toothbrushes also provided. Good Comms from owners.
  : Sofas bit uncomfortable if spending anytime lounging, did not affect our stay as out and about.

  : The Wi-Fi was good, Plenty of towels. Netflix on the TV
  : Fridge wasn't working when we arrived and smelled like it hadn't been off for some time. Called and informed the owners who said their maintenance man would get in touch and get it sorted, never heard back from them. When we got back from working we found the electric and gas had gone (Reason for the fridge not working) so we put the emergency on and sorted out the boiler so we had hot water which led to the next problem. When we had a shower the curtain was inadequate to keep the water in and the showerhead is in a fixed position, which is straight down so you spend most of your time not under the water. The Bath leaks from underneath so when you get out of the shower you have to mop up the bathroom floor ( that's why there are so many towels), which is all lifted and clearly showing this happens a lot. The Furniture is stained and feels grubby. The hob doesn't work, I found this out when I returned from work late on the night and tried to cook some pasta. Never cooked pasta by repeatedly boiling the kettle and letting the pasta soak in a pan, who knew it would work... The floor in the kitchen is cracked and sharp under foot despite the Gaffa tape put over the cracks. As an electrician that works all over the country and regularly stops in houses this one has to be the worst I have had yet, I also fail to see how this house has passed an electrical safety test looking at the state of the wiring on display. Feels like it has been bought painted (poorly) and thrown on the market to make money, no care or consideration for the people using it. If this this a "Gem" in Washington then it makes me fearful for the state of the other houses in Washington, This wouldn't be a "Gem" if it was in Damascus.

  : Could have done with a few more glasses for drinking. Extra towels would have been nice, and a spare bin bag!

  : Got to the accommodation and the house was broken into. Manager and director were always too busy to helps us. We have a special needs child and had to go to a friends house for accommodation. Still waiting for our full refund.

  : well situated for GNR, very quiet, spacious and home from home. good local facilities
  : the stairs are quite steep- not ideal if youve just run a half marathon with too little training!
