  : great loaction to explore the lakes and scenery. Nice little cottage within walking distance of the town and local shops, pubs and walks.
  : parking was only a short walk but it did mean that you couldn't unload outside the property and the same on departure. The road outside had a large pothole and surface damage which made the passing traffic very noisey, especially the trailers and larger vehicles

  : Lovely little cottage, so many thoughtful finishing touches, fresh flowers, milk, biscuits, etc left for us, house was nice and warm on our arrival with a side lamp on. Superb bathroom, huge bath would be great for weary ramblers, and good sized shower. Central to town, which we knew well and liked. Rabbits in the garden, very nice touch.
  : Bedroom door needs different latch, there is very little clearance between bed and door, possibly different hinges to allow it to open fully. My husband has a nasty cut on his arm from the latch which is razor sharp and rusty . I think it might be helpful to provide a first aid kit on the premises.
