  : The location was lovely
  : Room was too hot, couldn't open the window, the bed linen was cheap, no batteries in remote control for the TV. The shower needs to be tested, the water was boiling hot, the shower door was broken and didn't fit properly, no spoons for making drinks, inadequate tea, coffee..Cups not washed properly.The restaurant was closed and therefore had to scout for somewhere to eat. The pub stayed closed, I was there for 2 nights. The landlord was unhelpful in advising places where I could find somewhere to eat.No breakfast.Someone (I assume staff( entered my room at 5pm without knocking asking if I needed toilet roll.The room hadn't been cleaned, bed linen hadn't been changed.I paid £122 for 2 nights, and this was extortionate for what was offered, which was basically a room and bed.On the website its got great pictures, boasts about the restaurant and pub. But, none of this is true...maybe back in2019..not now.Also, the carpark is pitch black, not ideal at all when it's dark.

  : this property was advertised as a 4 star hotel and I booked a deluxe double room with pub facilities as the main feature. the pub was not open and no comment or notice given on this. the room with the view was the road. nothing deluxe about it and the photos show what was wrong. we checked out and as no reception but the keys in the box and left. I then notified the owner of us leaving and the reasons why to get a unprofessional response and no refund given. it was totally false advertising as he said we booked the room not the pub. unfortunately then it didn’t come into standard as the advertisement said food and entertainment available. I am very upset that my request for a refund was not given.

  : The room was in need of a good clean.The bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in.There were no staff there, the only contact we had with anyone was by phone.The bar was not open at all for food, drink or anything else (which was one of the reasons we booked this property.)The handle on the bathroom door broke, we had to open it with a spoon.

  : The pub round the corner, the George and Dragon
  : turned at 7pm with my colleague, the place was in darkness, as per the photos we thought it was an open pub. no one there to greet us so rang the place who advised us to walk through a side door where the room key was left on top of a radiator with a post it note with the room number on it! we asked why the pub wasn’t open and we were told there was one round the corner we could go to! The room itself wasn’t clean, no breakfast, no one to greet us or check us out in the morning, all this for £75!!!! can safely say we will never ever stay there again.
