  : pretty surrounding areas and a good location for what we needed during the weekend
  : We booked and paid for a triple room and on arrival were told a double had been booked for us. We were in a rush to get into any room after a long journey so took the double and our key didn’t work. The staff couldn’t access the room so moved us to one next door which was 2 single beds pushed together, not a double bed and yet we still paid for a triple room. When we asked they apologised and said they would book us onto breakfast to compensate. The room was dated, she shower did not work and the toilet flush was broken. We weren’t in the room long as we were dashing to get to a wedding ceremony but if we had been spending more time at the hotel it would have been a horrible place to be. Another couple we knew were staying here too and they warned us off breakfast in the morning and said it wasn’t great so we didn’t bother trying it. The staff were apologetic but did nothing tangible really to help. We paid £132 for one night and all agreed we have had much better stays in £40 per night hotels. Unfortunately the staff seemed completely unsurprised when we raised the issues we faced - as if they know what the issues were and they are themselves frustrated by the issues not being fixed. It was really disappointing from start to finish. Even the loo roll had been folded nicely with barely any left

  : location was good.
  : our bathroom made a noise for about an hour after flushing the toilet . Last time i stayed I had a very soft bed but this time the bed was a bit better. Also last time my telephone made a noise so i had to take the cable out at the wall . Breakfast was okay but the croissants could have been fresher both visits and my poached eggs where undercooked this time .

  : The balcony was great. Location and view from room was brilliant.
  : TV. Kept asking for a google password.Had to delete previous users accounts to get the TV to stay on.A bar snack menu would of been useful.
