  : We loved the location, beds very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was very nice. We only stayed a few hours after getting to the George & Dragon very late due to flight delayed at Gatwick. But the stay did it's job before we drove back to Devon.
  : Only thing that didn't do down very well was the drive way. Not tarmacked, but gravel and stone, so car's make a noise while driving over it.

  : NOTHING!
  : The hotel was undergoing a major renovation. The hotel was not in a fit state to accept guests. Booked half board, no facilities to eat or drink. On arrival, we were told that no food was available. People still upholstering furniture, children were polishing items, bar glasses were outside on picnic bench and people were still carrying pieces of furniture inside. They recommended two local establishments for food. Contacted Booking.com, and they tried to call the hotel twice but got no response. Asked the hotel for a refund, they refused, saying that the room was up to standard and food would be available. The room was not properly clean, cobwebs on windows, part opened shower gel packet/sachet from previous occupants in bathroom. There was also a bulb not working in the bathroom. Don't know how or where we would have eaten the food. The bar area was a total mess, resembled a building site more than anything. When we left & handed back keys, the lady owner was very rude to my husband. She had no customer service manners at all. A total shambles will not use Booking.com again as they were not willing to help resolve this matter even after speaking to a manager on duty.
