  : Meadow View is perfectly located, being just a short step away from Stamford's generous array of shops and eateries, and with immediate access to a number of circular walks into the surrounding countryside. As ours was a Christmas visit to meet up with family, we were delighted to discover that our hosts had thoughtfully provided a fully decorated and lit Christmas tree in the sitting room. The provision of other basics, such as loo rolls, handwash, tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc was beyond our expectations, as was the overall feeling that this was our home for a few days and not merely somewhere we were borrowing. We can attest, also, to its warmth and cosiness with the wind howling and rain lashing outside, whilst still providing all the elbow room four adults could require of it, both upstairs and down.
  : This is no more than a matter of personal taste, but we might have welcomed blinds or curtains of some description at the kitchen and downstairs cloakroom windows. Whilst the lack of them doesn't compromise one's privacy particularly, they'd simply "soften" those rooms and provide an extra sense of cosiness. And while we didn't fully comprehend the operation of the TV, we suspect that those of younger years would find it a doddle! These are not gripes, though, just subjective observations.
