  : The staff were brilliant and very friendly and helpful. The location of the Balnoon Inn is great and it enjoys some lovely views over the Cornish countryside.
  : The Inn , like many similar establishments, is in the process of recovery following the pandemic. Staff shortages were obvious. Breakfast choices were limited but were prepared and served single handed lay by the live in manager/owner who was clearly doing well considering the pressure she was under. That said, I strongly believe that the Balnoon is more than capable of achieving their goals.

  : Wasn't keen on the evening meal it was microwaved to death couldn't cut it the breakfasts were excellent the staff were really friendly made your fee.l very welcome

  : Lovely hotel and hosts. Really great time whilst visiting the area. Lots to see,recommend the train park and ride .
  : Just outside walking distance to St Ives. Needed to use the car to get around.

  : NOTHING!! We would NEVER stay here ever again! WORST 315 for 2 nights we have ever spent. we have always loved our trips to St. Ives but staying here definitely ruined a part of our holiday!!!!!
  : A stinking mouldy bathroom that looked like it had not been cleaned in years! A cracked shower tray, mouldy shower head that again looked like it had not been cleaned in years! Dirty damp condiment stand with lots of strands of human hair dangling from each section along with dirty stained teacups and a glass that looked like someone has washed their mouth out with after brushing their teeth! Dust all through out the condiments and the jar that they were sitting in! Safe to say this has clearly not ever been replenished or cleaned! There were NUMEROUS ELECTRICAL items that were OUT OF DATE for a PAT TEST including one that was 11 YEARS OUT OF DATE! There was a fridge left on a carpeted floor which again is another health hazard. Bad communication through staff / manager with regards to check in. We was told we could arrive at any time and if the bar staff were not there to check us in then to call the hotel and a staff member would come and let us in. We then received a call whilst on our HOLIDAY hours later that i need to be at the hotel within 30mins to check in or basically you haven't got a room!! After bad communication with regards to check in, i am then approached whilst having a drink at their bar whilst on my HOLIDAY by a lady who is a staff member at breakfast and is also the cleaner or the manager who knows to inform me of the DO's & DONT's. I was very shocked and upset by this, and i have never received this treatment before!!!! But..... the DO's & DONT's don't stop there as you have a lovely book of them in your room waiting!! Our overall feedback of this place is appalling and we felt more dirty leaving than we did entering!!! The place is run down not just inside but outside too, and you can clearly see that NOBODY IS EVEN BOTHERED!! We would NEVER stay here ever again even if someone paid us!!!!

  : Comfortable bed with ensuite bathroom. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer in room. A good full English & vegetarian breakfast prepared both mornings.
  : Some traffic noise can be heard from the main road. No teaspoons in the room.

  : We were booked for a two night stay.. but didnt stay!
  : We arrived at The Balnoon Inn 5 minutes before check in to find it locked up! The woman arrived 25 minutes later, saying shed got stuck in traffic, she was short staffed, shrugging her shoulders, not even an apology, her attitude was a disgrace! She acted as though wed done something wrong, absolutely no hospitality at all, she was so rude, thankfully Booking.com helped us get a free cancellation, there was no way we were staying here, then she told us to get off her property!
