: Good selection of breakfast choice with proprietors willing to make alterations to what was provided. Could sit out on verandah and able to make tea and coffee in dining room. Good location within walking distance to town and lift.
: Fewer feed back surveys. Keep being asked to do them for 3 nights B&B

: Lovely relaxing time, the hosts were excellent, and it made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Shanklin.
: Nothing really, the bathroom was on the small side, but everything else was great.

: Appley Lodge is the place what you don't want to leave. Gareth and Wendy are fantastic hosts, run the place with pure passion. Wendy's porridge is unbeatable and Gareth's fry up rocks! Highly recommended place to stay on the island. We will come back.

: Location was very good, lovely sunny veranda to sit on in the evening. Plenty of choice for breakfast, from cereal, fresh fruit, full English, toast & jam was available. Hosts were very accomadating & helpful and also booked the return ferry crossing for us. Plenty of places to eat along the sea front or in the nearby old town. Free off road car parking.
: Shower in our room was not very good, the host stated they are going to update the bathroom facilities. The hot water from the sink tap, was excessively hot. Would have been nice to have a wardrobe instead of just a hanging pipe rail. Would have been helpful to have been emailed the restaurant phone numbers, as alot were already fully booked.

: Excellent location and free parking, both very important factors for us.Gareth and Wendy were excellent hosts , always cheerful and helpful.
: Only slight negative for us was the very small bathroom, which could do with updating.
