  : Very old facilities (especially bathroom). Could not regulate water temperature in the shower and ended up burning myself and taking a cold shower.Very uncomfortable bed, I could feel the mattress springs in my back.No air con, very little air circulation in the room.

  : Staff we met at reception, very friendly, cheerful and helpful.Room a little warm, but window opened and was fine.
  : Forgot they have music in bar and seemed quite loud when we went to bed, didn't think we'd get to sleep, but actually didn't take too long.

  : Hotel was central to the seafront with plenty of free parking in front of the hotel.Our room at the rear of the hotel and was very quiet.
  : We did have problems with the unlocking the room door.Our daughters family room was near the reception which was a little noisy when it was busy.

  : **Review for The Burlington Hotel, Isle of Wight**My stay at The Burlington Hotel in the Isle of Wight from Friday, 22nd June 2024 to Saturday, 23rd June 2024 was quite disappointing. While the hotel has a great location close to the beach, several aspects of our visit left a lot to be desired.Right from the start, the receptionist was extremely rude. On more than one occasion, she showed a noticeable attitude. When I called to ask about kitchen facilities for the three of us, she snapped, “This is a 2-star hotel, if you want 4-star hotel facilities please go to another hotel.” This response was unnecessary and set a negative tone for the rest of our stay.The beds in our room were uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep well. We were hoping for a comfortable and welcoming experience, especially since it was our first time in the area, but instead, we felt quite unwelcome.While being close to the beach was convenient, it wasn’t enough to make up for the poor customer service and uncomfortable accommodations. I wouldn’t recommend The Burlington Hotel based on our experience. If you're looking for friendly staff and a comfortable place to stay, you might want to consider other options.
