  : Food of any sort was not available as the kitchen was closed as apparently the property had been up for sale for some time. This was not made known to us at the time of booking. We had been led to believe from the booking details that food would be available, so nothing to like!!
  : The booking.com website gave misleading details about the property, the facilities available and the standard of accommodation. We would not have bothered booking if we had known about the true state of the property. The place is up for sale,and has been for the last 12 months and is reflected in the general absence of any cleaning or maintenance of the bedroom facilities. No food was available because the kitchen was closed, so we had to travel to a pub in the next village to get dinner, the bed mattress was as soft to be non existent, the shower was dirty, and shower head broken, the internet didn't work so the TV wasnt available, a fridge in the bedroom was so noisy we had to turn it off. The accommodation is suffering from a general lack of maintenance and refurbishment and should not be offering bed & breakfast facilities. We shall be looking for a total reimbursement of our accommodation fees.

  : The bed was comfortable.
  : The pub/ accommodation is up for sale. It is run down, uncared for and the room grubby. Although advertised as having a restaurant, even all over the building ad well as online it is closed. Having arrived from West Wales at 19.30pm with my son and granddaughter this was a problem, we had planned to eat there. The shower didn't work properly and couldn't be turned on or off easily. Cobwebs in the bedroom and the bedside lamp shades and headboard dirty. Whilst I felt sorry for the outgoing manager there was no-one visible to give our key to, the main building was locked. I had to put it through a letter box and text her to say I had done so.The whole place gave an impression of being a rundown motel in a B grade film. Having said that, we eventually found somewhere to eat at thr third attempt and we slep well. Unfortunately this is not the little country premises the picture shows.

  : not been told that on the website that no food will be served and that Pub was been looked after by relief landlady as pub sale had fallen through , so no food even though booking .com and marstons website had no indication of this, which after travelling down from from midlands 3 hrs expecting to be able to have an evening meal and breakfast next day found none was available . Was shown to room which was cold despite been told a radiator had been put on, sat on the bed and sank down so quickly found a premier inn 16 miles away and went back in the bar for refund and check out. Communication from whoever owns the pub as in Marstons stating that no facilities and website updated re the same would have helped in me not booking the place in the first instance
