  : The location of the hotel is central to the shops and other St Helens tourist attractions e.g. World of Glass.I couldn't fault the service and the food was good. The staff were very attentive and helpful.The bathroom was well appointed and suitable for disabled guests with assistance pull cords and grab rails if needed.
  : Although the bed was very comfortable, I had difficulty getting in and out of it if I needed to use the bathroom in the night as I have arthritis so a slightly firmer mattress would possibly have been better. I didn't like the fact that the shower was over the bath. Even though it was a low bath, for a person on their own with arthritis or any other disability it was difficult to get in and out of. So saying I knew the shower would be over the bath when I booked my accommodation.

  : The rooms were big and the bed was comfy
  : The pool is a leisure centre full of children and the pillows are hard. Also the restaurant is overpriced for what it is.

  : Very little compared to other hotels and I'm a frequent traveller.
  : Most things I completed online check in and still had to put all my details in at front desk. Went to a function on the evening and food was very poor indeed. Starters as a disgrace.The chap who looked like the function manager went round with a face on him the whole evening. Breakfast was not good by any standards, bacon was cold, I had to ask for sausages, tomatoes, bread for toast, eggs in hotplate awful presentation and broken. Coffee machine broke. Very poor indeed considering there were 3 staff at 10.00am, all items should be fully stocked NOT having to ask. I've stayed at the hotel now 4 times standards have dropped so much.
