  : Location perfect all facilities close by.Patio area a bonus for morning coffee or pre dinner drink Comfortable quirky apartment the owners have made best use of space available. Very clean We would return A washing machine would be handy.
  : External steps especially if wet are slippy.Internal stairs to bedroom and toilet steep If any mobility issues this wouldn't be suitable for you.The owner's do state this on the website.A small basic welcome pack would have been appreciated. The clock on the stair has a very loud tick that keeps you awake at night. Advise remove the battery such a difference. Despite the comments above we would return.   : The general furnishings, the kitchen provision and the bathroom were very good. The location was first rate in terms of Rye itself, but we had major reservations about being there in the winter (see below).
  : On a winter's night when we arrived, the heating left a great deal to be desired: two small oil heaters were insufficient, especially as one did not function, a new electric heater had no instructions for turning on fully. A major problem was arriving in the dark in winter with no instructions except "Behind No. 22". Entry required negotiating an ill-lit narrow passage way made of uneven stones and two vertiginous sets of stairs, which were not mentioned in the description of the property and would be difficult for the elderly even in daylight. These did not get our stay off to a good start.

  : Very steep stairs down to bedroom and bathroom. We were absolutely fine but would not be ok for anybody with mobility or balance issues.
