  : The location is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and efficient and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel has a quaint charm. The vegetarian food was very nice. It is also dog friendly.
  : The decor is a bit dated and the rooms could be updated/ upgraded.

  : A clean and comfortable facility. It met my expectations.
  : Any issues that I had were dealt with by speaking to the duty manager before I left. That said and as a precaution, I would advise others intending to stay at the "Queen's Head" to check the times of the evening meals as these seem to be variable and not always available when one might expect. However, there are other places to eat in Rothbury so one should not go hungry. I trust that this comment will not put people off using this hotel.

  : The room was very comfortable and the staff were super welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and generous.

  : Only choice at breakfast was full english or pancakes and syrup. No cereals or fruit juice and the room was cold. We chose not to eat dinner there. No lounge area just bar with pool table and large t.v. screen and again the room was cold and uncomfortable. The photo online did not show the room as it actually was. Because we were not happy with everything overall, we left a day early. There was no one around to speak to so we left the keys in the dining room and went home.
