  : Unfortunately daily road closure of the main road into village meant we had to do a cross-country to get to cottage from 8am to 5pm. However, that was not a fault of the holiday let.

  : It was clean, welcoming and exactly as advertised. There were no nasty surprises and so it was a pleasure to stay there. We did meet the hosts, as they reside next door, and they couldn't have been more helpful - even providing milk in the fridge and biscuits for us when we arrived Sunday afternoon.
  : Unfair to call this a criticism as it is advertised, but the headroom in the second bedroom in the roofspace upstairs is severely limited in places. Therefore, this bedroom would not be suitable to anyone with flexibility issues (i.e. You need to crouch or get on your knees to get in and out of bed). However, the primary bedroom downstairs has no such issues and was perfect for my 70+ mother-in-law.

  : This was a lovely, comfortable, well equipped cottage in a really nice village which was within easy and very accessible distance from many places of interest. We spent two weeks at the cottage and had a very enjoyable holiday.
  : What is not clear in the published description of the cottage is that the 1st floor bedroom has a low ceiling and the bed, although perfectly comfortable to sleep on, is on the floor. It would therefore not be very suitable for tall people or the elderly/anyone with arthritis. Luckily we were fit enough to cope with this and it did not detract from our enjoyment of the holiday.

  : The location was lovely, very scenic and quiet, and the Wheelhouse was quirky and comfortable. It had everything we needed and it is obviously well-cared for and maintained.
