  : Important issue that needs resolving. THE BED IN THE MASTER BEDROOM IS BROKEN. It clearly has been patched up previously as there is a rudimentary attempt to repair it. The main strut supporting the mattress has snapped. This could be solved by putting a cubic block of wood of appropriate height under the strut. The strut and its supporting legs are weak and not up to holding the weight of two adults. The mattress is very comfortable. Fortunately for us the patched repair only gave up 2 nights before we left. But this issue really needs fixing. There is no laundry washing machine in the property which is not a big problem but the local laundrette in Leyburn is unusual in not being self service. So we ended up going twice as they couldnt do our laundry the first day we went. This information could and should be included in the property information folder.
