  : Instructions to access the property and find rooms could be clearer. Nobody responded when I asked for help. TV did not have a signal and didn't work.

  : Great location and very clean.
  : Temperamental room door locking system that requires an app and nobody answered phone or available to assist. The room was boiling hot, and the window wouldn't open, also no tea or coffee making facilities.

  : We were locked out the first night due to getting given the wrong code so had no where to stay, the contact with the property owners is hit or miss, the room was not what we had booked and when we told them that we got ignored ,the key expired randomly on the second day and the bar attached isn’t allowed to contact the people in charge of the rooms, we were told we would get a full refund but when enquiring have been ignored, it can get very noisy due to being located near all the bars

  : Keith was incredibly helpful and responsive! He made sure I had the app and that I understood the instructions and access codes. The rooms are quite central with easy access to most main shops in the area.Our room was rather small but very clean; there were clean towels and some small toiletries.
  : Some cons are:- thin walls (we were in room 11 and could hear noise from room 13 very clearly)- a strange green light was lit on the ceiling and we had to cover this up as it was too bright with the lights off- the window is next to the main street, so traffic was very audible by the early morning- shared bathrooms - not ideal- no blackout blinds, so the room was bright by early morning- very basic toiletries (no hairdryer, etc)

  : In a nice town, parking nearby, clean room & comfy bed
  : I had picked The Herbalist Rooms because close to A1 and I needed to break a long journey. I didn’t realise they are above a restaurant/bar which has loud music playing inside and out. I wouldn’t usually mind that but had wanted a good sleep! They turned music down a bit but still really noisy. Also didn’t like the ‘no key, no personnel’ policy so you have to download an app and let yourself in & out with an app - A.I. at its best

  : The tea bags provided were of a good quality. Along with the biscuits and water.They also provided toiletries for showering.
  : I do not usually write bad reports but in this case have to say i was very disappointed.£85 is not a cheap accommodation especially when their is NO breakfast included.So to turn up after walking up quite a few stairs and narrow corridors, that the toilet has no toilet seat or top was pretty shocking especially when if you look at the attached photo its apparent its been removed and not used for some time!The toilet facility is very narrow so they have used a very small sink, practically unusable if you wish to wash your face.Also you will be unable to go to sleep until after 11pm as the music from the bar/kitchen/restaurant you are located by has speakers outside playing music and the windows are not double glazed.
