  : Staff were really accommodating and for a person without disabilities the hotel would be easy to navigate and comfortable.
  : I booked this for my mum who is tetraplegic. Before booking I called the hotel to check that the facilities were wheelchair friendly. I was reassured that they were, including being given details about the "walk in" shower. Unfortunately the hotel room was far from wheelchair accessible. Although there are ramps to get to the room, the bedroom door is very tight and could just about fit the wheelchair.The bathroom was impossible to navigate in a wheelchair because the wheelchair couldn't even fit inside. The "walk in" shower was not level with the floor, there was a significant step up to it, about a foot high. But it didn't matter anyway, because the wheelchair couldn't fit through the bathroom door at all, and even if it fit through the door frame, it would have no space at all inside to turn. My mum faced a four day stay without being able to shower, had it not been for us having other family staying in the same hotel who had to lift her and carry her into a plastic office chair inside the shower. This is incredibly dangerous and degrading, my mum had to be man handled to be able to shower.The staff tried to help by getting the plastic office chair and letting me go check the other rooms to see if any would actually be wheelchair accessible, but they weren't. This hotel should've never been promoted as wheelchair accessible.This hotel is accessible if someone is able to get up from their wheelchair and walk a short distance, but there are no mobility aids in the bathroom to make even that safe.The room was also very small and the wheelchair had no space to turn around which made getting my mum into bed very difficult.
