  : The view of the beach was lovely and there are some nice walks right from the front door. The pub next door was very friendly with some tasty food. It's just a short drive to some interesting villages and splendid walks around forests and lochs. Morangie forest and the northern shore of Loch Fleet were well worth the short drive. There is a flat charge for dogs of 25 which is much better than some other properties.The accommodation is a good size for a couple with a small dog. There was plenty of cutlery, plates, pans and glasses in the kitchen as well as tea, sugar and coffee plus a fair selection of DVDs in case we had to wait out some bad weather. The bed was very firm which we liked and the shower had great pressure.
  : Attention to some small details could turn a good stay into a great one. The main one is the fireplace: only two logs, no kindling and a temperamental long-handled lighter were supplied when we got there. After a quick conversation with the contact for the property we bought supplies from the local shop which we were reimbursed for. Other small things: There were cobwebs around the windows which I had to clean before I shut the trickle vents to stop the bitter cold wind coming in; the fridge door opens to the left, away from the kitchen; you can clearly hear people walking around in the flat above, opening drawers and moving things around which made us feel a bit like we were living with someone else; somewhere to hang towels in the bathroom would be nice; only a 4.5 tog duvet for a February stay made for some slightly cold nights unless you have the radiator on.

  : It was clean, tidy and convenient. The view out of the window was lovely.
  : I would have preferred a sofa instead of separate armchairs.

  : Rigbt on seafront. Clean. Local shop. Good food hotel around corner. Parking outside.
  : Would have liked a small sofa. Had visitors for a short time but couldn't offer them a cup of tea as there only 3 cups plates etc.

  : Superb location, loved the log fire. Views from the property were awesome.
  : Overall attention to detail in the property was lacking. No toilet paper, no bin bags, the duvet had no cover on it, no dishwasher tablets, used laundry in a bag in the wardrobe in the bedroom. The lack of a duvet cover and toilet paper meant we had to go back to Tain to purchase them. We were really disappointed.

  : beautiful sea view, comfy bed, nice and warm with heating on for our arrival. The area was a lovely quiet village location. Friendly pub with good food 2 minutes from the cottage
  : Loo roll would have been appreciated, shop only a minute away so not too much bother to go buy some

  : The cottage was fantastic, location wise and facilities wise with lovely bright interior containing everything we needed for our long weekend. Great service from host with good communication re keys, requirements etc prior to stay. We would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone wishing to explore the area, have a get away from it all, or go walking.
  : Might seem petty but perhaps clean under the bed better. Having bent down to pick something I dropped off the floor noticed a couple of items, probably left from previous residents, (which I left in place) and a bit dusty under there!

  : The location on the shore side was fabulous
  : The bedding,ie pillows and sheet and duvet cover need replacing, they were a bit washed out and pillows were not comfortable. Also the TV signal didnt work

  : Location and views. Spotlessly clean. Locals very friendly. Well stocked post office.
  : Lack of two seater couch. No welcoming pack. The no parking signs need to be replaced as they are faded and twice we came back to find a car in our space.

  : Excellent situation on seafront with perfect views over the harbour and seafront. Super wee cottage for a break with lots of walks in the area. Quiet location and very friendly residents
  : No instructions on how to work any of the facilities provided, more so the heating system. We had to Google the instructions and fiddle a few switches to get it going.The cottage needs a bit more attention with the cleaning routine. Skirting boards, light fittings, and windows were dirty. When emptying the bin at the end of our break there was a mess dried in at the bottom which had been there from previous visits and didn't know which outdoor bin to put the bag into. Given the entry and exit times given there's more than enough time for these details to be attended to.
