  : Location was good and the staff brilliant. The shower itself was a good strong flow
  : The bedding was too small for the bed and the shower stall was very small.We couldn't get the heating to work, but we didn't ask for help otherwise I'm sure they would have come over and sorted it for us

  : This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. It is convenient for me visiting family..it is quiet, comfortable and with plenty of parking.
  : There is a security light on the side of the main building that is super sensitive. It was turning on and off all night. It shines straight into the bedroom window so, even through the curtains it was visible.

  : Firstly, there should have been a clear line within the description of the property that there is no heating on until sometime in November. I arrived at the property and was shown to the room and told the hot water will be ready in around half hour which I didnt mind as I was 30mins early for my booking in at 5PM. While waiting in the room, I notice there was no heating and I contact the number provided to notify them that there was no heating. I was told they do not turn the heating on at this time of the year. There was an electric blanket on the bed. With temperature below 10degrees (11/10/23 Featherstone/Castleford Area, check it out) imagine how cold the room felt, I woke up the morning scared of having a shower (the shower had hot water) and condensation was dripping off the front door/room door handle.The room smelt damp/mouldy, however, there was no clear sign of damp, well, until I notice a shadow behind the TV and touched the wall. Rising damp and the paper is coming off the wall, massive bulge, photos taken. The carpet could desperately do with a professional clean, it was vacuumed but still dirty. This meant that you leave the room smelling like the room, the smell sticks to your clothing. I still believe if the property was heated and vented regularly a lot of these issues apart from the carpet cleaning wouldnt be so obvious.Then there was the breakfast, nothing warm, bread out of date and the Crunchy Nuts a bit stale because it was not closed up properly. I didnt check the milk (lol).So, if there was a little bit more care, attention, and heating within this property, it could have easily scored a 5 star in my honest view. The location is perfect, it is very quiet at nights although there were a few strange bangs I believe there are other properties attached to the other side of the building.I did complain to Booking.

  : Lack of signage on site, i.e. name on gate, reception door. This was more difficult as arrived after dark.
