  : Soft furnishings and carpets were very worn and stained. Decor was worn as were windows.

  : Lovely position, pretty cottage, great bedding and linen, and comfy bed
  : It was a shame that most of the windows were un-openable. The back garden was really overgrown and not very usable, and the gate was rotten and had fallen off. Also the kitchen needs a bit of attention - there were no matching glasses - a mish mash of different sized wine glasses was a bit of a pain, and only two teaspoons, one colossally heavy chopping block instead of more useful lightweight chopping board etc. And when using the back entrance (once you've navigated the rotten gate) you have to manoeuvre around a huge amount of bird poo from nests in the eaves!

  : Great location. Heating worked well. Nice sheets and duvet covers.
  : Courtyard was overgrown and not nice to sit in.All cottage was not very clean and carpets very stained. Bathroom was ok but shower flooded until we asked for it to be drained. Kitchen- dishwasher not working, fridge is wobbly. Window had no catch on and easy to open from outside. Lounge windows were dirty, coffee table was old and stained. Stairs were not appropriate for my elderly mother. Mattresses in single room particularly are uncomfortable, you can feel the springs.This was mentioned in a review 3 years ago. Blind in window is broken. Window in double room was dirty until a cleaner was sent to sort it out. Springs of mattresses can be felt. Very disappointed for the money it cost. No cleaning materials were left in the cottage.
