  : The location is excellent. Very convenient.
  : The cottage is gloomy, grubby and smelly. It is overfilled with an odd assortment of dark furniture and bric-a-brac which adds to the heaviness of the place. Cobwebs around the top of the walls as well as dark stains. Ithe smell is quite strong, hard to identify, possibly stale tobacco, pets or damp, or a mixture of all. In the bathroom, there is a strange little brown screen which apparently hides a hole in the floor. There is also an old stained trolley of some kind which holds cleaning products. There is no visible wardrobe, just a hanging space about a foot wide in a grubby space next to a washing machine. I could go on, but have probably said enough. The place needs a deep clean, a declutter and some decent lighting.

  : No breakfast provided and not expected. The location was good although the steps means it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The property was pleasantly decorated and there were an abundance of towels, loo paper and washing up things
  : A note on how to get on to wifi and how to operate the wood burner and the radiator would have been helpful. Some guests might like information on where to eat in the village.
