Disappointing

  : This was self catering so no breakfast and we saw no host/s. The location was good and we enjoyed being in part of a very old building. We also liked the cafe and the many walks around the estate. Good also to have a wander after the public had left for the day. The beach was close by with lots of interesting shells and rock formations. The kitchen seemed to have had a recent upgrade and was well equipped with crockery and utensils. The heating system was good and we were never cold even though the weather wasn't brilliant.
  : On the first night, my son (adult) went to get into bed. The beds were of a very old design and the top spring slipped and tilted. He got this sorted out but decided there was no way he was going to sleep in either of those single beds. He also thought that had he fallen out of the bed it was very close to the sharp corner of a small unit between the beds. He slept in the living room. We reported the matter on the Monday and were VERY annoyed to learn from the staff who came round that this had happened before and "something" was going to be done about it. With health and safety such a priority these days we think "something" should have been done immediately - replacement/new beds. I have to say the bed in the other room was very comfortable as were the pillows. We didn't like the bathroom. The suite and everything in it looked new but it was rather small and awkward.

  : Great size and lovely view. Very quiet and restaurants 3-4 miles away were good. Was great walking the grounds at night when all the visitors had left!
  : Lounge great size but brown! Bit of colour and some pictures would really make the flat fab.
