  : I booked a luxury apartment but this is a house on a run down housing estate. It was stinking of cooking smells ie curry. The utensils and microwave were greasy. The glasses were sticky and stuck to the shelf. I booked 2 nights but left after 1.

  : The host refused to give me the code for the lock box. Even after I had paid for the property and deposit a week in advance to my stay. It was only through contacting booking.com that they panicked and decided to give me the code and this was at 10/11pm at night. When supposedly my check in should of been 3pm

  : Good location, clean, spacious, quiet, nice neighbourhood, cosy, Airbnb type feel, accepts pets.
  : The biggest concerns was the faulty gas boiler, not working on arrival, ? not installed by a corgi registered gas engineer. A late night engineer did arrive eventually but unfortunately had to condemn it and explained that had it been working / if we continue to try and turn it on, we would have been at high risk of an in-house fire or carbon monoxide poisoning!Myself, husband, daughter and pet dog had to check out the next day. Very disappointed and fearful at the time. Engineer had taken images of the shoddy work undertaken by the previous dodgy engineer and considered we report the poor installation.Only saving grace was that the Landlord at least was apologetic, accepted the disgrace and tried to offer us a free stay on another arrival.

  : Mould on bed sheets. Cover all smelt. Bin bag still there from other people. Garden over grown. Couldnt put our black sack in the bed due to being cable tied.

  : The location and size of the property were good for our weekend plans. The beds were comfortable the property had most of the facilities you need for a longer stay e.g. washing machine, iron and ironing board.
  : There wasn't enough crockery and utensils for everyone and they had to be washed before use - this wasn't a problem as we only had breakfast at the property. The garden was untidy and the bins hadn't been emptied which meant numerous waste bags littered the garden. No shower in the main bathroom so everyone used the ensuite.
