  : We stayed in the Berkshire suite and it was a fabulous room, with plenty of space. A large sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful with resolving issues.
  : The heating wasnt working in the bedroom and as its winter it was really cold at night in there. The kettle didnt work and there were a few areas of the suite that werent quite clean, a dead fly on the bathroom floor, large cobwebs in the bathroom skylight.

  : The hotel was in a suitable location for the event we were attending. We did not use the Spa facilities as we were only overnight. The towels were good quality. The bed pillows and linen were good.
  : The room had an awful, musty, damp smell. It was worse overnight, making my husband cough. The taps on the sink worked counterwise, and the hot water tap didn't work very well at all. There were cobwebs and dust in the bedroom and bathroom.

  : The entrance hall was very nice but in my opinion, it would have benefited from an interior designer coming in and a makeover of the building. I liked that it had an outdoor pool - which is why I booked it.
  : It feels like it needs a makeover - it has the potential to be amazing.

  : Not much. There were two members of the Reception team who dealt with us in a professional manner (Rachel and Harriet) as we were a group of upset and angry guests.
  : Do NOT stay in this hotel. On arrival we were met with mould up the walls in the communal/reception areas toilets. Following that we were given a room that had a hugely unpleasant and, after subsequent findings quite possibly dangerous smell of fish, which the hotel suggested was likely the heating. Sadly this can be a sign of a much more dangerous fault problem, not just a bad smell. The bed base was torn and stained and areas of the room still dirty after being cleaned. The spa was also incredibly disappointing. We were told we had complimentary spa access 5-8pm but actually that meant only the part of the spa (pool) that was located INSIDE as it was dark outside (being Winter months). This totalled approximately 8m2 of pool space which wasnt very much if more than 2 guests wanted to use it! Loungers were marked and whole area is very under whelming. Sadly as the hotel couldnt give us a suitable alternative for the original (fish odour) room, we couldnt accommodate our party and had to leave and stay elsewhere incurring extra cost, hassle and quite frankly huge disappointment after looking forward to the weekend away with friends. There was NO senior management on site to whom we could express our concerns and to date no responsibility taken or compensation received. Please do not stay at this hotel, it is NOT a 4 star worthy hotel and we will be following up with AA who awarded this after our visit.
