  : This neat modern end of terrace house was well located in a quiet part of town with the great bonus of good off street parking for 2 cars which in Lyme is significant. We found it comfortable and very warm (couldn't work out the heating so just had to turn radiators off!). 10mins walk down hill (steep return) to the promenade and close to places to eat. It was lovely having the little courtyard garden to enjoy the Easter sunshine.
  : It wasn't clear who the agent's were as Booking.com cite Sykes' Cottages whereas the in-house information name Lyme Bay Holidays. This was only a problem when we wanted to communicate an issue with the shower which was terrible- no pressure, little in any heat control. There was a bath but as an elderly couple, a shower is safer/easier. Looking at the Visitors Book this seems to have been a bone of contention for over a decade. This would be a big factor in us deciding whether to rent this property again because it wasn't cheap. Shame as we really liked so much about the house. There wasn't a dishwasher ( we'd opt for one rather than a washing machine) but for 4nts it wasn't a deal breaker.
