  : The room was as advertised. It was a good size and comfortable with good facilities.
  : The location was scary. Our taxi driver couldnt find it. You entered the hotel via a dark car park, at a dark locked pedestrian gate, up dark stairs. It was the most unwelcome entrance to any hotel we have ever visited. Not what you want in a drizzly evening with 2 young children. The stairs to the room had a security door with a security number pad half way up. It felt like we were entering some sort of secure accommodation. The place felt like it was under siege and a bit scary. It also has lots of signs saying we are renovating dont worry you room is ok. So obviously lots of others have expressed concern. We went out to eat, regardless and in the way back it it was even more scary with 2 guys dealing drugs just down from the dark entrance gate. I have given it a 3 overall because the room was good. But we would not return!

  : Staff were helpful and I was given a room upgrade.
  : The property is in the middle of a refurb. It was empty. I never laid eyes on another guest. I was the only one at breakfast. My room was absolutely freezing cold upon arrival, clearly it had not been used for some time. Also the hotel is totally unsuitable for Disabled. Lots and lots of steps. Hotel located on a steep hill in a dark, lonely lane. Entrance to hotel is difficult to access.
