  : The location was lovely, being right next to the sea was nice
  : The bedding did not smell clean, the mattress was lumpy and not very comfortable. The room was extremely warm and there was no air con so had to have the door open all night which meant moths came in due to the lights just under the doorCheck in wasn’t until 4pm and the pool shut at 5 so by the time we got our things into the room, there was no time for a swim, similarly in the morning the poolDoesn’t open until 10 and you have to check out by 11 so no time to swim.

  : Breakfast was good and a good portion the full English was 2 bacon 2 sausage 2 hash browne egg beans mushroom half tomatoe and black pudding, the room was comfortable we had a king room with Seaview the hotel was a good location as we were spending the next 7 days at Potters resort which was 3.5 miles away.
  : The lift had broken down on the Friday we were informed as soon as it happen but was not fixed when we left on Monday.

  : Good location, very nicely decorated and very clean
  : Room was very warm, we did open the windows but this was above the outside seating area for the bar and individuals were smoking, did speak to a member of staff who said they shouldn’t be smoking there and moved the ashtray. Unfortunately individuals later on started to smoke in the area again. We had to close the windows until the bar closed but this did make the room warm again. The rooms could definitely benefit from air conditioning. Lovely place with friendly staff.

Disappointing

  : Our initial impression was quiet location by the sea plenty of parking and looked very tidy. The room we were given overlooked the sea and play area needing some repair, was large and airy. On arrival we were told the lift wasn’t working but were offered help with the luggage, we were also told the restaurant was limited for the night because of a bingo cession being held, but if we wanted to use the Chinese takeaway we could have cutlery. So far it was acceptable “these things happen”.
  : The night was spent waking constantly with the feeling of falling out of bed for half of us. When we examined the bed in the morning yes the mattress was sloping so we went down to breakfast to report it ( breakfast doesn’t start till 9.00 so we can see not many people use it). Next problem the gas wasn’t working ,so only a limited breakfast on offer. OK the pictures showed a very interesting display of granola so cold breakfast shouldn’t be a problem, but then no yogurt or fruit either??? After breakfast the staff said a new mattress was required but they wouldn’t be able to do it for our second night. We asked I don’t think unreasonably to change room but they said they did have any with sea view available, asking to speak to the manager we were told she wasn’t in until 18.00. OK please tell her we would like a different room, with or without sea view or some of our money back. Returning at six it appeared the sea view was high on their priority list ,but we eventually got another room without,, and had a better nights sleep. We skipped breakfast the next day….. We were also led to believe the hotel is now under new manage since a while back.
