  : The little restaurant is sweet and cozy. The woman serving was friendly and kind.
  : The staff watched both my friend and I drag our heavy suitcases up the front stairs one by one while the others remained in the rain. The tall handsome young man just stood there with his hands clasped. We are 50+ year old women. Not a good start. After booking 6 months prior and requesting to be put relatively closely together we were told unapologetically that was not possible. I was put in the basement with a view of the mechanics while my friend was several floors up. Sleeping down there you hear absolutely everything, every creaking footboard, every room being hovered, I felt like I was a child at camp. Def not worth the money! We were told they would make every effort to move me after the first night but there was never a further attempt. Oh they did leave me some gummy sweeties in my room.

  : The location was nice and central in notting hill and the breakfast was tasty
  : We booked a rate of over $600 USD (about £500) to be put in a smelly and dark basement floor room that was truly abysmal and not at all what was advertised. After complaining we were able to be put on the 2nd floor for the first two nights of our stay (that room was nice, although the sink in bathroom seemed clogged as water wouldn’t drain easily) but the last night had to be put back into the scary basement room as hotel was all booked up. Adding insult to injury, the tiny glimpse of light we could see from the window was interrupted by the feet of the diners on the terrace as our room was directly under the dining area. Again, after more complaints I made to the front desk they were able to get the rate for the last night down to £303 (which I still don’t think is worth this kind of room). The basement level is also used as a service floor so all day could hear slamming of doors as they brought in linens. At this point it’s not about the money or false advertising but the emotional stress this hotel caused me on what I hoped would be a lovely and relaxing holiday. I think it would be wise if the hotel stopped booking rooms on their basement floor, or at least advertised them as what they are so guests aren’t met with frustration and disappointment when they think they’re arriving at a luxury boutique hotel.

  : Excellent boutique hotel no more than 50 meters from Notting Hill Station. The surrounding area is one of my favourites in London. Lots of great cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. Holland Park Road is really great for morning runs or walks. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere and the staff are lovely.
  : Service in the restaurant can be a little slow at times, but for the most part the food is good and pricing is reasonable.

  : Beautiful style, lovely outside seating to eat or just have a drink, and the staff were all amazing! A short walk to Westbourne Grove and the gorgeous shops and cafes.

  : Good location, great selection of consumables and products in room. Excellent bespoke furniture, vinyl player was a nice touch. Interesting paintings. Clean and friendly staff.
  : View was looking into someone's house so had to have the curtains closed all the time. Room was quite cold. Dont know if the heating was broken during visit. Alittle pricey for the room.

  : Staff not very friendly given price of room rate !Had very small room for £500 a night worth more like £250Got fake tan on sheets tried to wash off Took a hand towel home by mistake before I had got home and realized I had been charged a further £96, I had every intention of contacting the hotel once I realised what I had done but after I was charged just over £700 for one night in a small room with the air con going on and off all night and an average small breakfast…I definitely would not recommend stay well clear , try the 5 star landmark hotel some rooms are cheaper!!
