  : There was a beer delivery from 6-6:45am the morning I was staying. This was right below the window and very noisy. I appreciate it’s a working pub but this was the only negative

  : It was clean and quiet once upstairs. Also great distance from the station.
  : The bar closed incredibly early, we booked here so we could experience an English style pub environment. We flew in from Australia and checked in at 8pm, the bar was full, we lugged our bags up three flights, got back down to the bar at 9pm and it was closed, the barman had called last drinks and everyone left. He did reluctantly pour us one, which we were grateful for, but then went on to do the oddest things with the female bar staff. He wrapped his ‘whole head’ from the top, down to his neck in cling film…yep cling film… almost got stuck getting it off, couldn’t breathe and panicked, all while the female staff member watched on and giggled away. I’m not sure what kind of flirting this was but it was hard to watch in that tiny room, but at the same time I couldn’t look away as it was so bizarre. I joked to my husband it was drinks and a show for 350 pounds… Five or six other people were turned away the young girl rolling her eyes as they walked in and the barman happily saying, we are closed. We drank up and left. It was an incredibly expensive stay to experience this type of behaviour.

  : Noisy pub with dj music below the first floor room until 23:00 h, no breakfast option, room was very musty and no way to open windows, small room and not value for money despite being centrally located
