  : We have booked and paid for this stay for our family holiday on the 02/12/2022 and planned to go to the property on Sunday the 17/22/2022, on Saturday the 16/12/2022 we received a call from Sykes travel agent saying that the home owner has cancelled our stay because the boiler was broken and could not be repaired, it was very stressful for us as we have packed everything and the kids were very happy looking forward to our snowdonia stay, the lady on the phone was very rude and hang the phone on me and had a very poor customer service skills we have received an email with twi substitute offer which were over 50 mikes away from our original booking location, we had no option but to go for the first one, I have waited an hour for confirmation but the second lady I spoke the on the phone never told us that that property was no longer available even though she has confirmed my booking via the phone I had to call back Sykes where another gentleman answered the phone and help me all the way to find us another similar property that was great first day of our stay we had an electric power cut at 02:00 am but Sykes was very helpful sending an engineer who fixed the issue and we had a complementary breakfast outside as the power took few hours to be fixed we have been travelling with Booking.com for years and this is the first time where we had our stay cancelled Sykes have done their best to help(not the first and second agent we spook to ) but I think that the house owner should have made sure that her flat was fit for rental instead of cancelling people holiday one day before travel we will have to think twice before booking our next trip with booking.com as we had a very bad experience there is a lot of competition now days and the best service providers will win more customers I hope that this review will help others

  : Slow key code communication, no knives on the property to cook with etc, lack of toilet rolls. No towels had to bring own. Quite rude when I called to get the key code.

  : The property was to a high spec, very clean and had everything you need for a perfect stay. Located is fantastic in a beautiful village and close to the beach. Highly recommend
