  : The shower was good, though the water pressure wasn't very high. Not the fault of the owner though as such things are not within their control.
  : I didn't enjoy sharing my space with all manner of insects. There were quite a few spiders. Fortunately, they don't scare me, though I'd rather not live with them. The accommodation looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The floors were not clean, there was a stain on the fitted sheet and the blinds were not very clean. There was no hospitality tray, which I'd have expected at the price that they charge. It was cold in every sense of the word and unwelcoming. There is an air conditioning unit on the wall, and it's effective once it heats up. * Update 28th May 2024: I've got several insect bites on my right arm and the area around them is turning yellow. I'm quite concerned.

  : This is a wonderful secure family home where your privacy is respected, and the owner was only a text message away to answer any queries promptly. The room was spacious, and clean, with all of the facilities we could've needed, including a toaster and microwave. We also appreciated the free WiFi with a good signal, and access to an amazing conservatory and lounge. We found the bed was more than comfortable. Would be happy to return, and can recommend highly. Overall, we found Lingwood Hall a refreshing alternative to the large budget hotel chains we would use normally.
  : Only a couple of minor quibbles, which took nothing away from our pleasant stay. For example, would probably have preferred a small bedside table each side of the bed with individual lamps. Also would have preferred to be able to use kettle on the table provided, but socket locations didn't seem to make this practicable, so we boiled water on the floor (with care).
