  : This was an en-route (Stranraer ferry to London) stop over so we did not really have time to appreciate the property properly. We had a large room, large and very comfortable bed and massive very well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was good. Host (Willie) was very attentive. Although not on the main route it is less than 5mins away. Much nicer than modern box.

  : Willie is an excellent host and very knowledgable about the surrounding area. We loved his house and huge garden and had a very comfortable room.
  : More choice at breakfast would have been good.

  : Location was delightful. Lovely old property in the countryside. Very quiet and lovely views from my bedroom window. Host was very engaging and good company. Bed was very comfortable. Good wi-fi. No TV.Despite what I disliked (see below) I would give the property another chance.
  : Unfortunately there had been a leak in my room. Whilst repaired, wall paper was hanging off the wall. One window could not be opened in my bed room. Breakfast was satisfactory, but not aligned with my expectations of a Scottish breakfast. No adjustment was in the amount I was charged for staying in a water damaged room. If the above were addressed my rating would be much higher.
