I was very disappointed not to have been advised (both in advance and/or during the check-in procedure) about the very poor parking arrangements for arriving at the hotel by car with luggage - there is no where to park when checking into the hotel other than on a very very poorly marked "Goods Loading Bay" (or on the wide pavement), that is right outside the main entrance to the hotel - needless to say, having inadvertantly parked on the loading bay, (the sign indicating that it was a Goods Loadling Bay on one of the two lamp posts (no sign on the other lamp post) was obsured by a large delivery truck & the road marking is non-existant - please do go out and check it!!), checked in and taken our luggage to our room, I returned to the car (all of thirteen minutes later) to find a Parking Penalty Charge ticket on the windscreen for £110.00.I mentioned this fact to the staff on Reception later that day only to be told that "it happens all the time" - I was not impressed!!!2. In the bathroom, the glass shower panel was very poorly fitted - every time you showered, 70% of the bathroom floor flooded - I did advise reception that a member of the maintenance staff needed to re-adjust the door so that it fitted over the bath, not against it.3. When booking the room, I had enquired whether not not there was parking in the hotel - I was advised that there was not, but that there was a multi-storey car park very close, as indeed there was - unfortunately, there are no EV charging points available for those of us who drive an electric vehicle. Your staff appeared to be unaware of this.

  : Over-priced. Worst value for money hotel experience I have ever had. No complementary bottled water; no espresso machine in the room; no slippers or bathrobe. Very basic for an exorbitant price

  : I have stayed here many times. Great location. Comfortable room, bed and pillows. Room service excellent and staff friendly.
  : Cobwebs in all corners of the room. The room was quite dusty and decor starting to look a little tired.

  : The hotel has no car park in site and though a public car park is 2 minutes walk from the property it was expensive addition to our stay. Hotel is close to a railway line but though we could hear the trains, it was not particularly disturbing.
