  : A room with an authentic Victorian chimney, a queen size bed extremely confortable, a lovely decoration made of british furniture's in leather. I even had nice flowers on the balcony. I felt at home.

  : Very large room with very comfortable bed. The staff were really lovely. The bar downstairs was nice and the food was really good. Very convenient to be able to just pop downstairs for a bite to eat.
  : The only draw back was the noise from the road in the deluxe double. The windows were very thin so sounded like I just had the window open all night, I would advise bringing ear plugs!Also felt the shower could do with replacing. It looked a bit rusty and the attachment barely usable as the water pressure is so low and there was no option to change the setting, so if you dont want to get your hair wet its a bit awkward!

  : The room was large and well appointed. Very clean and the bed was huge (super king I think) and very comfortable. The room was warm and cosy (it was a chilly weekend when we stayed) with provision to be able to control the heating. I turned the radiator off at night as it was too warm to sleep. Although the room is located on top of a busy pub, we didn't find the noise levels a problem, it was all quiet by midnight on Saturday and by 11.30pm on Sunday night. All the staff we encountered were super helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel have an agreement with a local caf (Mil Kitchen) which is less than 5 minute walk away, where you get a 10% discount if you tell them you are staying at Captain Cook (we just showed our room key when we had breakfast there on Sunday). Overall a very pleasant experience and amazing value for a weekend stay in London - would not hesitate to stay again.
  : Very little that I didn't like. I would have given 5 stars, but our room was not 'made up' while we were out on Sunday. So we didn't get our tea, coffee and milk topped up. I absolutely know that if I had gone down to the bar and asked for refills we would have been given them - but it wasn't a biggie and I was too tired and cold . I did leave the 'Please make up my room' sign on the door, so was a little surprised, but in the grand scheme of our fabulous weekend, it didn't detract at all from our experience.

  : Easy to find, the room was spacious and comfortable and well fitted out. The Captain Cook were also extremely accommodating when my plans changed and I had to stay another night - they were able to fit that in without a problem, and I was able to stay in the same room throughout!
  : Nothing really that I can fault - it was exactly what I needed. It is worth noting that there is a decent bit of traffic noise from the road outside in the evenings.
