  : Staff generally were superb. Breakfast in Charlies excellent.
  : Price of food rather high. Optional service charge added without notice. This was removed when I objected. In my viw this is sharp practice and decietful. This reflects on senior management.

  : The Schloss Roxburghe, was in an ideal location. The Golf Course added to the ambience of the location. The Spa facilities were excellent, as were the Spa staff. The infinity pool was amazing, along with the whirlpool and saunas all being outside.The rooms were again amazing. Very large and well-appointed rooms. The only one complaint was that the Court Yard rooms are definitely not recommended for people with mobility issues. The courtyard is a pebbled surface and is uneven and can be difficult to negotiate.
  : We had a few issues that really were quite avoidable. The breakfast was excellent when we arrived but as the time wore on and the busier the hotel got the poorer the breakfast got. The restaurant ran out of coffee pots, there were excellent choices of bread on arrival but when bus parties arrived only cheap plain bread was available. No explanation could be offered by the staff. Again the trainee Concierge was completely out of his depth as to showing us around the property. We had to find everything ourselves.In the club house we went for coffee and scones. It was advertised as freshly baked scones. Alas, this was not the case as they were not even properly defrosted and were inedible. The older staff blame the young staff. This is unacceptable. If you want to be the best, lead by example. Educate and train your new staff. Don't blame them if they are not taught how to do things right. It was quite obvious that this is a learning curve for this hotel. I for one, who has a lot of hotel experience, would not have faith in the team leading this hotel at present. I only hope that Hyatt do read this review and take on board my comments.I totally disagree with the 12.5% service charge, this should be discretionary.

  : Given a room with a connecting door to the room next door.Although this door was locked, the noise between rooms wasn't great. Could hear the guests in the next room talking as well as their music late into the night

  : It was mostly wheelchair accessible, the building offered ample space, as well as parking space, the staff were approachable. and very friendly - nothing was too much to ask for!
  : The entrance to the main reception didn’t have wheelchair access…

  : Gorgeous expansive grounds and golf course. A beautiful setting. Impressive hotel
  : Limited to some areas of the hotel. A large wedding party were staying in the hotel so garden seating area was given to the wedding guests.
