This traditional country house offers free Wi-Fi home-cooked food and great fishing nearby. It is on the A9 amid the Monadhliath Mountains and near the River Findhorn. Glenan Lodge is 15 miles south of Inverness and 15 miles north of Aviemore. It is well-placed for walking cycling bird-watching and fishing in the Highlands.
Sometimes you can spot a red squirrel. At Glenan Lodge there is a comfortable guest lounge with DVD player and games plus a homely dining room and a licensed bar.
