  : Handy location between Horsham & the Alford Rock & Blues festival site. Amazingly comfy bed. Nice room all round - adequate wardrobe space, & desk with room for TV, tea making stuff, AND room for my bits & bobs, particularly with the drawers too. Nice to find a comfy chair to sit in to watch TV, a floor sized fan for hot weather, and very importantly, a suitcase unpacking & storage rack to keep it off the floor. I'm short so very happy with the sloping ceilings. Great to have toiletries supplied, with a rack to place them & my own stuff on in the bathroom, & good sized towels. Breakfast was marvellous. Good choices, fruit, cereal, full fry up, & could ask for extras too. Good that you could turn up & be self sufficient re getting room key etc.
  : No signage/map/plan of the rooms; within the external blackboard room allocation area, a plan as to where each room is would have been helpful. I didn't know in advance where my room would be nor that the back of the block of rooms had an unmarked door leading to some including mine, until I passed it by twice & then had to ask in the pub, which was apparently expected although my room number was displayed on the blackboard outside, & you get the key from inside the room. The unmarked door looked like a private bit, as all other doors visible had the room numbers on. Shower had loose black mould around the frames that I could clean off, although a stain remained. I'm asthmatic & very sensitive to black mould spores. I appreciate it's a difficult aspect to control in such an environment, & I mentioned this to the owner suggesting that the extractor fan be retimed to continue longer after the bathroom light is switched off, & now suggest that guests for more than 1 night be supplied with a squeegy-scraper & a cloth to mop up as I've seen elsewhere - I would not object to being asked to help mitigate a condensation/mould problem.

  : Breakfast OK. Room comfortable
  : Bath too high for wife to use shower , room not made up with care on second morning . Bar lacking in atmosphere in evening, food a bit pricey not as much choice as I was expecting. Booking process did not record second occupant costing an extra 40 a night on arrival , had I known that probably would not have booked this accommodation. Was not aware that it was shutting down for good in 2 weeks.

  : It was convenient for a party in Loxwood, breakfast was great, check in was simple and the gentleman who sorted breakfast was really friendly
  : Bedrooms are a bit dated and could do with being redecorated
