  : I saw two staff, one was excellent, the other just swanned around and "forgot" to put out food and milk for breakfast so I got practically no breakfast on two days.

  : The location was terrible couldnt gain entry when we arrived looking at the accommodation was not suitable for our needs more suitable for workinge men had to look for other accommodation extremely disappointed owner did not charge us for accommodation please remedy what happens with our payment re which was put on my credit card on September 1st 2022 awaiting your response !!!

  : There was a rave from about 1 pm until almost 10. I couldn't hear myself think. It was very rowdy. I wouldn't have minded if it was actual music but it was just constant banging. If I had known that I would have booked somewhere else. Not appropriate for a hotel with paying guests.

  : Food and menu was surprisingly good. Only 1 member of staff that was on, but he was really helpful. Decent wifi connection.
  : On arrival, the stairwells were cluttered with housekeeping equipment, which remained there all night and still not moved on departure.Automatic lights don't go on until your at the top of the first flight of stairs.On seeing room doors, they looked like they'd been hacked with a machete. Photos don't do this justice.Inside the room, although clean, was in a serious state of disrepair and major upgrade required. Room was so small. After speaking to guests and locals in that night, and realising I was the only female in the building, I discovered this tends to be used as a stop point for travelling tradespeople. On further enquiry after leaving at 7 am that morning to the hospital, I discovered, this hotel is regularly a complaint pit for surrounding neighbours, as one of the nurses lives at the back of the hotel.I would not be staying here with children or any other guests.And for 58.60 for a tiny room and the trip hazards getting to it is not acceptable compared to other local prices of B&B's Sadly I didn't know the area and booked based on photos on website as I needed somewhere to stay prior to a visit to Stracathro early morning.Price of breakfast should have been taken off the room fee, as they were aware I'd be leaving prior to this. But that hasn't happened. And I was told on departure this hotel is due on the market to be sold, so I highly doubt any repairs and upgrades will be done.

  : nice room, good shower, clean and comfy
  : breakfast - continental but hardly anything there. Left so little out and there was no orange juice - the Swedes at the next table had taken it to their table to use it all. Bit of toast and some cereal. I had to ration the milk carefully to make a coffee. Let down an otherwise good little hotel.
