Standing high above the River Wye the Royal Hotel has fine river and countryside views. It offers traditional cuisine free on-site parking and bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The Royal Hotel is next to historic St Mary’s Church and a 5-minute walk from Ross on Wye's shops. The M50 motorway is 5 minutes' drive away and The Forest of Dean is 20 minutes by car.
Each bedroom has a small seating area satellite TV and tea and coffee facilities. Some rooms have scenic views and some are located in the stable block. The historical hotel is built on the foundations of a 13th-century Bishop’s Palace. It has been visited by Queen Victoria and famous author Charles Dickens.

Barretts restaurant is open 7 days a week and can also be booked for private functions.
