  : We stayed at the hotel while attending a wedding in the area so location wise it was ideal and the central location meant there were a choice of pubs/cafe nearby.
  : On arrival there was no one to greet us and no obvious reception/check-in area so we were left standing around for about 20mins shouting out and waiting for someone to see us and give us our room key.The room was good value for money having the basic facilities you would expect. A couple of negatives to note: the toilet didn’t always flush properly without a number of attempts. There were cobwebs around the bathroom ceiling. The tea and coffee making facilities were positioned on a dresser where there was no plug socket so the kettle had to be used on the bedside floor. The hairdryer provided was practically useless but I always bring my own anyway so not a big deal. Again it would have been more convenient to have a plug socket nearer the mirror/dresser for using hairdryer/stylers. The cooked breakfast provided was very basic and the eggs tasted like they had been sitting out all morning. There was juice provided but this had ran out and the hot water dispenser hadn’t been turned on so I couldn’t make a cup of tea. These would not have been major issues to fix but there were no staff on hand to ask.

  : My reservation was cancelled by the hotel and I was turned away at 8pm. The place was deserted and stank of weed. Bar/restarurant area closed up and looked unused at 8pm on a Saturday night. Eventually found a caretaker who told me the reservation was cancelled. He did suggest somewhere else I could stay.
