  : a) Entrance below street level: However, the apartment windows open towards a small garden b) Quiet and nice street c) Supermarket(s) about 5-10 away; long opeming times d) Walking time to Waverley Station 20-25 minutes. We walked it several times and mostly were faster in comparison to waiting for and riding the bus. [Not refering to the apartment itself:] The bus system worked fine, the tracker & journey apps were really helpful. The only setback was that buses did not run that often... e) The contact partners (Houst) responded quickly and were very helpful!
  : 1) The visible surfaces were mostly clean. However, some details left room for potential and were already communicated directly to the organisers (but we would go there again). 2) If you are not used to working with a gas stove, take into account that with this stove, gas may flow _without_ a flame being lit! The baking oven did not work (or were we too stupid? we only have 50+ years of experience with gas stoves ;-) 3) We did not find separate containers for recycling in the apartment and no instruction to Edinburgh's recycling system. Being used to separating and recycling various kinds of resources, this was a bit unsatisfying. 4) The double bed providey only _one_ real blanket. The spares ones in the cupboard were not of the same type. 5) The shower does not allow to regulate temperature and water flow independently. 6) The lock on the apartment door is a kind of 3D-challenge. It works but is helps to have "escape room experience". 7) There are not many plug sockets. Distributors are helpful to bridge the gaps. 8) The boiler made sounds during the whole night (although we did not turn on the heating). When sleeping on the sofa near the boiler, earplugs can be helpful.

  : The location of the property was very good 10-15mins to city centre. I am very happy with the cleanliness and responsiveness of the customer services team before and during our stay. Highly recommend attitude, friendliness, and professionalism. We really like how promptly the team dealt with a small issue on our arrival. Some bedding/linens had been forgotten when we arrived, and they arranged for a handyman to deliver that night as it was out of hours when we arrived due to train delays. Thank you to them for this. Top marks here.
  : The apartment is well appointed. The only thing that we would suggest needs to be reviewed is the sofa bed as it's not designed for 2 adults to sleep on comfortably. Also, the middle has some metal bits that pock into you and make it uncomfortable when you lie on. If this was changed to a double mattress sofa-bed, then our rating would change to a higher one. This brought down the overall rating of the property sadly. More details about the sofa need to be shared with future clients if not changed, and the total number of people accommodated changed from 4 to 3 or to 2 children. (One of our party slept on the floor).

  : Really great location, only about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Edinburgh, and very close to Stockbridge. The area itself seemed quiet and felt safe. The apartment was spacious and had a lot of natural light and we were very comfortable there for two nights.
  : On first impressions, the lobby can seem a bit dingy but as soon as you are in the apartment it is very nice. The sofa bed was fine for one person space-wise (though not the most comfortable!) But it would definitely be a struggle for 2 people.

  : Was clean, fairly good location. Heard no noise. Used extra bedding for sofa bed in living room. Bus stop close to property for short journey intoCity centre, people very helpful advising where to get off too.
  : Although parking very convenient (right outside on the street) it costs 3.60 p/h to park weekdays, but is free on weekdays. Also didnt know what flat number it was as it was a building full of flats and I couldnt find it anywhere what number it was!

  : There was no milk on arrival which I have had elsewhere. Also one piece of ham left in the fridge which I binned.

  : The communal areas were grim and there could have been better and more pillows. The upstairs neighbours were very noisy.
