  : The staff were great. We visited to see Taylor Swift, and they had made a big effort with friendship bracelets and a bottle of Prosecco in the room on arrival. Given that they were so busy, we were also very pleased to be able to check in early. It was very clean and despite the bedrooms having earplugs, we couldn’t hear much street noise given it central location. Let the Scottish touch in the free minibar of iron bru, Scottish water and tunnocks wafer biscuits, much needed after a 10 hour concert experience

  : - The staff were super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to be so - they seem to be working as concierge, front dest reception, bar tender and once as houskeeping!- Nice decor unique to each room that was very cute.- Nice tea and coffee in morning
  : - No car can park in front of hotel for any duration of time - not even with luggage!!! You have to be dropped off 100 meters away from entrance and walk to hotel. - They were undergoing renovations while we were there - so some rooms had the noise directly above them- Cant watch netflix on TV due to “internet security requires daily confirmation of terms and conditions” - cant cast from mobile either- Room cleanliness depends on who does cleaning; My son had an ear infection that seeped on bed, the first two nights sheets were changed, but the third and forth, not - had to call to get it changed (was done pleasantly by the reception staff)- little things: light on magnifying mirror is not connected to electricity; safe is cumbersome to use; noisy doors reqjuire oiling; towel warmers not working- No restaurant (apparently stopped during Covid) - Unless you’re staying in a superior room, the rooms are tiny

  : Staff were lovely, room was cool.Bathroom......loved having a magnifying mirror and the grab bar in the shower was great.Location was great for the tram to the airport.
  : lift didn't work, desk staff also had to work the bar, no railing for the steps outside. Basement room was musty smelling, very limited space for luggage.

  : Nicely located within walking distance of central Edinburgh (easy access to Princes Street, Central Bus Station) and 5 mins from the nearest Tram stop. The hotel also benefitted from very friendly staff.
  : Based on the price paid, the room comforts were missing. I would have expected a bit more on a welcome tray to give the sense of 'deluxe' that was being paid for. It was also unfortunate that the hotel was in the last stages of building work/renovations when I visited as that prevented it being shown in all its glory.
